Brook will win.
Never seen Jones so im not getting involved. Ive often thought Kell struggles to figure people out though, im not sure he's got the best boxing brain and opponents have survived longer against Kell than they really should have considering his power and talent. He may blast this guy out of there but i really couldnt say with any confidence, 4/7 the Ko a bit short for me. |

Brook points win for me at 2/1 looks the value at this stage. Not committed to a bet yet. Will be in attendance and it looks a cracking card.

Wat seat u gone for smido. Yeh pts looks appealing to me too. Ko far too short

some good fights this weekend but doesn't seem to be much value around. I stuck Proksa to stop Hope @ 2/1 in a treble last week but held off on the single and the price has gone now
'may still take the shorter odds nearer the time as I think the cut really affected him last time and having lost the close decision I can see him making sure this time. |

Got a press pass on behalf of boxingasylum.com Carlos. When I went in March I was on the back row of the floor seating. Not exactly rocking up at ringside but it was the first (this will be second) time I got a press pass so not complaining. You going?
I've had a go on Proksa Alab he knows it's make or break for him and Hope had the night of his life last time. This Rees Mathews could be a good'n but no bet. Matchroom got some good youngters as well so will get there early. |

Fair play. I'm expecting a good competitive fight even if brook wins so it should be a good night. Good fight to go to. I'm
much more of an amatuar guy. Realy looking forward to olympics, hopefuly watching som1 like lomenchenko. Well any1 good will do |
By:
I'm totally the opposite Carlos. Don't like the amatuer game at all. Olympics might change that but not sure.

Ever been to a show. Aba championships is where the best uk fighters compete

What's everyones plays for tomorrow then?
Couldn't find anything to have a decent bet on personally so just going to have a few small punts for a bit of interest. Got the Proksa stoppage in a treble with Haye ko/khan ko @ 14s combined. Can't bring myself to back it as a single now the price has collapsed. Had a small punt on the draw Eubank Jnr - Carruthers @28s...looks quite a tough fight for Jnr this early on but I can't see them wanting to derail the hype train with a loss so the draw may be a bit of value. Going to have a few quid on Rees-Matthews grouped round betting, either fighter rnd 7-12 @ 5/2. oh and had a super speculative tenner on Maddalone/Thompson ko double @ 300s ![]() |

ive played Donaire-Mathebula not to go distance. Think Mathubula's style may play into Nonito's hands and he also needs an impressive win. Slightly less price than the best KO price i could have got but with added insurance.
Like Rees to stop Derry aswell i think, Matthews is shot and Rees wants to put himself in the british lightweight mix up. |

Can't understand why brook is so short. I always think a good yank will beat a good Brit. I hope he's better than odds suggest so I'm laying brook, but Carson slot shorter with bookies.

I've ended up having a score on the Jones ko @ 11s, partly because Brook is starting to get on my tits with the puerile insults about Jones's big head....not the greatest reasoning for a bet I'll grant you, but having watched a bit of him on youtube he probably is being underestimated a little bit. He seems to show nice aggression at times and that may come as something new to Brook.

first one landed, great fight!
By:
Yeah cracking match that was

If ur backing jones uv gotta go with ko surly
here's my bets: judgement night Market (ladbrokes): klitcko win via unanimus decsion 5/1 total rounds in klit v Thompson fight over 8.5 at 7/4. Brook outright in acc fury outright in acc eubank in acc Thompson ko at 25/1 earlier in the week that guy sonnen to beat Anderson silva at 11/4 federer win murry 4/7 haye win 2/5 Khan win 1/4 |
By:
Wats happenned. Eubank lost. Wat r u watching
By:
yep, first one in here.
Played proksa in rounds 1-6 next up. Wasnt getting involved in this but i think 7/2 is too big for this. Was at the first fight and proksa was really bothered by the cut, you could see inbetween rounds how it was on his mind......put that with him probably taking hope lightly and i think he could be a different beast tonight. Always the chance he's been overated on his sebastian sylvester destruction but at 7/2 ill take the chance. |
By:
Eubank lost already.
F00ks man. That's the problem. These 2 shows r clashing. I didn't even know he was boxing. Dats 1 down for me. Any1 got a link to the fury show |
By:
If u back some1 at least u should be able to see him going down. Dnt rate eubank but that t wat is sh1t.
Bet u brook clashes with fury fight. 100% guarnteed |
By:
are you sure Carlos? cant see anything about it on any forums?
By:
good spot that Jimmy, joined you on it to small stakes
By:
yep only small here mate. Got proksa in a ko acca so not put too much into it. Just willing to give proksa another chance here. The same bet was 4/5 in march.
By:
How did eubanks lose ?? points ??

By:
I can't see anything re: Eubank on twitter but I don't think his fights have always been live on 5, they tend to show Fury and then highlights of the rest. However nothing on Stu Hall vs Haskins either and I think that would happen before Eubank so I would say it hasn't happened yet
By:
yeah think carlos must have crossed wires somewhere?
By:
Yeah cant find anything regarding Eubank either where did you see this Carlos?
By:
really want to back Jones, lol, just got a feeling and don't see all the fuss about Brook

alabaster crashes down 07 Jul 12 19:25
I've ended up having a score on the Jones ko @ 11s, partly because Brook is starting to get on my tits with the puerile insults about Jones's big head....not the greatest reasoning for a bet I'll grant you, but having watched a bit of him on youtube he probably is being underestimated a little bit. He seems to show nice aggression at times and that may come as something new to Brook. alabaster crashes down 07 Jul 12 20:54 first one landed, great fight! happyhibee 07 Jul 12 20:55 Yeah cracking match that was I thought u were saying eubank lost or drew!!! Ur 1st predication was eubank to lose and the draw. So I thought he lost or drew. I'm not sure weather his fight will be shown live. Doubt it very much as fury starts at 10.15. So he fights between 8 and 9.45. His fight shud be done now. Dying to know the result. As iv got too much money going on him by accident. 19/19 so far only brook and eubank left on that acc and fedex tommorow. Only £30 acc but it pays ok. Dats y me jumpy |
By:
think channel 5 are on air for 2 hours mate and as you wouldn't expect Fury to go the distance there should be time to show it live
By:
Jones is too slow
By:
Does anyone else think that Brook lacks a killer instinct? Seems to be backing off everytime Jones in in trouble.
By:
I don't think he has it at all at times. Seems to hurt his opponents then just back off when they're there to be beaten
By:
sorry carlos. I meant my first bet of the evening had come in, rees-matthews 7-12.
Brook throwing some lovely punches but I'm not convinced still, doesn't seem toknow how to react when he gets caught |
By:
jones fighting back that round
By:
How has jones survived unreal, tough cookie.
By:
brook looks gassed to me.
By:
jones should have thrown body shots early, as soon as he started landed some Brook looked more lethargic
