Dubawi & Galileo are not alone...

No of course not but they are 2 of the leading flat sires in terms of money won. As it happens, Galileo has had 2 in the past 3 days. Very few Dubawi offspring run on AW but those who do don't tend to run well. Dark Angel, Kodiac and Lope de Vega continue to turn out plenty of winners.

Mehmas currently 3rd in the table on 15 wins, didn’t get the 125 winners last year I hoped for, did have two 100/1 plus winning two years olds and one of them won on arc day, the 2 year olds smashed it last year, just doesn’t have enough older horses running to achieve the target I set, strange because should have enough crops on the ground, less than 20 older horses won. What’s happening with these older horses are they being sold to race abroad?  Taken me over 5 hours talking to the safer gambling team and a one year exclusion period. Now I’m back

7 days into the turf and Dubawi doubles his annual score with 2 nice 3yos at Yarmouth.

Mehmas still 3rd in the table on 31 wins, hopeful might make the top 5 this season with around 125 winners, which is exactly the same as kingman achieved last year in 5th place.

Was close to a six figure payout last year on the 24th may, would of been about 130k, had 5 winners on the same card, the only horse that let me down , was a tip I put in the bet from someone I know, big mistake and the winner of that race was wild tiger a frankel horse, only a £1 bet. 3 of the horses that won in those 6 races went onto win at royal ascot

A string of recent winners for Dark Angel takes him to 50 GB flat wins in 2025. A few other old stagers are still doing well. Oasis Dream for instance with 28. He was the first sire to have 100 in a calendar year in my spreadsheet back in 2010.

Double for mehmas at York today, one horse let me down today at York in 2.42’two tribes, was a 5 fold at York would of paid 25k for a £2 bet, smashed the last winner at 11/2  for £813 payout.

Impossible race that 2.42 wish swapped that race for ballistic missile, but ho was an expensive buy

First legion another winner for mehmas at York, had £25 on that at 6/1, tipped me into profit for the day only around £100, didn’t have time to do the cards properly

One mistake I made was laying off a £25 bet on comical point when it drifted, cost me over £200, ruined my betting on the last few races, that and first legion both look good types

The man wins at York another winner for mehmas at 14/1, group 2 form picked four in the race two outsiders and the 2nd and 3rd, didn’t notice that the one, had good bet on humidity for Andrew balding £40 win on that backed the 2nd in the race too, pulled me out of a hole, wish concentrated more on yesterdays cards, takes me hour just to make my lists, before even start looking at form, need few days to really study a card.

Mehmas only had 21 wins from older horses last year, only may 17th and is already on 20 wins for older horses this season

Concentrated all week on yesterday’s Goodwood card, had all 6 winners of the first 6 races, unfortunately didn’t have them all on one bet, absolutely criminal of me not to of achieved that yesterday, just have to improve in that area, race two should of only had one pick Manx man and race three should of only had santorini star, did have tricast in that race, didn’t bet that obviously. At least I know putting the work really improves performance

Another near miss today, had rumstar and American affair in the temple stakes, had 5 winners on a 6 fold £2 bet would of paid 2k, don’t know why I put American affair on that bet, had no chance moving up in class from handicap company to group 2, what do your know, media tipsters falling over themselves to tip the horse, the winner was next on my list. Get that sinking feeling when you realise the front two so clear in the market, just to pull the wool over the punters eyes, the media are all in on it

Mehmas has just become the first sire to have 20 winners in a single month so far this year with victory for Eighteen Fourteen. That moves him to 53 for the year, in second place to Dark Angel on 56.

A first listed winner at 5f tonight for supremacy, will definitely be hoping supremacy wins the first season sires trophy in 2025, haven’t any information on how many horses will have running , A’Ali probably do well, society rock was a good sprinter

Should of went through the card at Nottingham today, just needed few extra lines and it was there for the taking, 5 winners  and 2 placed horses in a 7 fold, getting closer

Daniel tudhope hopeless on Haptics today in 3.12 at Hamilton, going easily and just does nothing in the saddle,  cost me over £1100

A winner in the first at Ayr today moves Mehmas to 83, level for GB flat wins with Dark Angel who has led my table for most of the year. Kodiac 78 and Night of Thunder 76 are next best then a big gap to Havana Grey and Sea The Stars on 65.

Literally could of won me 500k this season, too drawn out to explain, everything that went wrong that day, less than one hour was all I needed to achieve that, Monday just gone was a good case in point with an odds on favourite smashed by the Mehmas new comer

Mehmas starts the day on 99 GB wins so could be the first to reach 100 today. Should break the Kodiac/Dark Angel sequence of most winners for the past few years.

Mehmas now on 103 and one per day so far in August.

Mehmas maintains a lead in the GB sire table with Dark Angel keeping in touch in second and Night of Thunder in third place.

Mehmas hits 150 GB wins in 2025 with 2 today and a few races to come. By far his best ever season.

Major improvement from Mehmas this year in quantity and quality.

2026 started a bit slow for Mehmas but a winner this evening moves him top of the GB table with 7 wins.

Nice to see Mehmas sire the last winner of 2025 on an AW card, I’ve been concentrating on the football season last few months, had strong last few months, £500 double last night on Man City and inter Milan to win and over 1.5 goals in each match, paid £1500, should of put few extra 1000’s on the Man City match alone at 1/1. Difficult to maintain betting large bets all the time. Lot of running about and going to the bank branch to get the money, haven’t followed the horses for months now, will start again when the flat season has started. Intend on putting up my best value four folds during the season and hopefully hit the jackpot this year after a few near misses.

Meant to say, wolves v Chelsea this weekend, Chelsea at 1/1 to win and over 1.5 goals, looks particularly very good value

Chelsea won easily 0-3 at half time, final score 1-3, should of put £3000 on them, backed them on the handicap -1 goal at 6/4, main bet was £250 double with A Madrid, lost 0-1 after scoring 2 goals that were ruled off side in the match, against the same team they beat 5-0 a few days earlier. Had good treble tonight on villa/Man City/ Liverpool £340 paid £1560 on the cash out, plus £400 bet on Man City 1.5 goals paid just over 600. Good night, lost on Chelsea match last night £600,had in doubles with Man Utd win or draw, had £150 saver’s late on in the Man Utd match, which paid £340, put that on tonight’s treble

Wasn’t impressed with A Madrid n the weekend, although the other team defended well, good line of defence that caught them offside for two goals
They play tomorrow against Barcelona in the semi final copa del ray, although Barcelona are missing a few players at 23/20 for the win
Still a good price, could be a lot of goals over 2.5 and both teams to score, possibility against a Barcelona defence that play a high line

That was embarrassing Barcelona losing 4-0 at halftime, only happens in la liga, make a prediction and look a complete fool, lost over £800 that night, mostly on the Arsenal match in play, was going to put up my FA cup bets, Burnley let the bet down losing 1-2, cost me £2100 payout for £50 bet, covered the win and draw in the Newcastle match, recovered on Friday winning £440 profit on Friday, and £1628 payout on Liverpool, Real Madrid and Newcastle. Just under £7000 profit for 2026 so far
