Sands of Mali is fairly unique these days in being a true outcross ie he has zero duplicated ancestors in the first 5 generations of his ancestry. I hope and think this will help him become a outstanding sire of precocious fast 2 year olds and at the same time **** a snoop at all the droning on line- breeders and bloodstock agents claiming inbreeding to this or that fashionable sire and other nonsense
Sands Of Mali has no inbreeding in the first six generation as far as I can see. His first runners came out in 2024 and so far he has two runners on the RP website, rated RPR 67 and RPR 2.
Another sire with no inbreeding in the first six generation was Killer Instinct, 5/2 antepost favourite for the 2000 Guineas in 1999. Killer Instinct has 17 offspring on the Racing Post website, the best RPR of those was 74.
Why do you think sands Of Mali will become an outstanding sire of 2yos?

I saw him when he ran in the July Cup. Tbh I didn't think much of him but it was a good paddock with imposing types like Brando in it. Most of his better form is on soft ground. I think he will struggle to make an impact particularly with 2yo's. We shall see.
