Based on my data I would cover old ground for the flagship mare but with Iffraaj, or upgrade the Excelebration to an Exceed and Excel.

proxygene I cant see why they are not going back to Acclimation with Marlinka. Before they upgraded to Frankel last year, that was the plan. A full sibling to a record breaking mare at the sales can't be a bad thing. And 15 grand cheaper cover too!
I'll be surprised if some of these don't get sold in foal-especially Marseille. |

Farhh-Affinity could be interesting. Not at 2yo probably so a long time to wait but despite being by S Wells, Affinity progeny seem best at around 8-10 furlongs. If this is a nice foal, it could get a bit farther.
|

By:
Thanks for the figure proxygene-interesting-the club already has a 3yo filly full sister to Judicial.
Farhh is an interesting stallion because apparently he only performs when he feels like it, I'm told. Don't know if there's any truth in that though! |
|
By:
Farhh obviously knows that if he only produces 30 foals a year they might have rarity value

blackcat do you guys get any choice where they go?

By:
No cacique we don't. Which is just as well cos they'd want us to pay for the nominations then!

One that I feel they should consider in the future is
Ulysses x Harmonica Galileo blood crosses well with Pivotal mares, and prior to this year 14 sons of Galileo have sired G1 winners themselves Ulysses has fantastic lines himself. and his performances on the track back up his pedigree. First foals are due this year, and his first season had a full book of mares. At £17,500 he looks value to me , in a couple of years time that may look very cheap indeed. Any fillies from such a mating would have Brood potential on paper straight away , before ever setting foot on the track. |

Thanks The Unforgiven.
I actually think that Decorated Knight is absolutely outstanding value for an animal with one of the best distaff lines in the business. Given that Elite would consider themselves 'owner/breeders' then precocity would not be paramount for them. |

Decorated Knight also a son of Galileo of course-was what I meant to say.

BREEDING UPDATE
SISTINE was covered by DANDY MAN last week. |
|
By:
Decorated Knight appeared to improve with age, he was tough and genuine and as you point out has very nice female lines - on the track Ulysses had his measure but it will be very interesting to see how they both fare as sires. If only I had a few hundred £m myself and a few nicely bred fillies, what a hobby I would have.

Hermosa - Galileo from a Pivotal mare wins the 1000 Guineas yesterday,, hopefully Galileo can pass on plenty to his sons Ulysses & Decorated Knight

Dandy Man continues to impress as well. Now a clear third in my 2019 table of GB flat sires.
