Seems a gutsy call to have a freshman sire to cover your superstar mare (saves on the stud fee I suppose).

Can see the attraction of a covering by a speedy sire of course-and of course if she threw one in the same league as her it wouldn't do his reputation any harm-except you won't know that for a while....
