Do Re Mi Fa Sol has finished 3rd in a g2 from his first crop of only 17 foals too. He covered 47 mares that year so fertility might be a little bit dodgy.

Incredible that two French horses by such unfashionable/moderate sires are so good, when everything else sired by either of them is/was bang average!
