Can anyone fill me in what he was like prior to his relocation. Did he leave the INS simply because of a classic winner in France? Is he missed by anybody else? Ta.
Proxy, know nothing of his merits as a sire, but I recall his disqualification from at least two races due to Gastrogard in his system from treatment of stomach ulcers. He seemed a nervy type of horse and such things in my view can be inherited, like the vices that can arise from such problems. I would have swerved using him accordingly, and maybe others did too. Any particular reason for your interest in him?

The sort of info I was looking for. Just weighing up reasons for not popping over the channel since can't afford Sepoy. Wouldn't completely rule out nervy for this mare but psycho would certainly be out. Decent enough sire for the money, with one or 2 buyers interested in him. Dont 90% get ulcers at some point?

proxygene, have you considered using Evasive? Same sire line, he has done very well from a very poor book of mares. He sired only 33 foals in his first crop, including group performers Evasie's First and Piment Rouge. He has covered 172 mares this year some from the very best breeders in France including the Aga Khan. I think he has a very good future if you are breeding to race or sale in France. I have got a share in him and I still don't know what to do with it next year, very early days to think about that...
