By a son of Danzig out of an Efisio mare he's certainly all speed. Faultless at two, shame he couldn't win at three though. Sets the early pace in the most commercial horse to retire to stud for next year so far.

Out of interest would anyone ever have issues with steering in a stallion prospect?

its tough enough to get a stallion with good form and a drop of pedigree that's half fashionable at my level. The rest is a bonus.

it seems at these sales that even what they look like and faults are a very secondary consideration.

Pro - you'd have to think it was either temperament or soundness issues wouldn't you?  Either way its enough to question him, IMO.  I like the colt but I'm sorry he has only run 3 times this year especially as they all seemed promising runs.

His cross of a Danzig on an Efisio mare, though would flag up temperament to me.  Although tough, I always found Efisios dodgy and never volunteered to get on any of his as yearlings!
