Wouldnt know how many mares he has covered but I was at Ayr when one of his progeny won first time recently, out in a 1m 6f bumper.
The horse concerned, Rhymers Stone, whilst a nice big galloping type with quite a pronounced knee action, was backed to win on debut, raced close to the pace and quickened well in the straight to win nicely.
Out of an Ardross mare, he had a lovely manner about him in the preliminaries, had an old fashioned chasers head, lovely big ears and an honest eye on him.
In short, at the likely prices, and for an NH punt, I'd give his sire a go, that is of course without knowing anything about your mare. If you could get me one like Rhymers Stone I'd take a share off you as well!!!
Best of luck
Sam

A friend of mine was up at mel brittains, i think he has put a few of his mares with desideratum, throws scopey types that can on they think, a good value gamble at his price
