Seems to happen a lot of Darley sires peaks and troughs of the extreme. Their big hitters Dubawi £75k, Medaglia d'Oro $100k and Street Cry $150k) hardly setting the world on fire this season either.
I would have thought those stats look good for Dubawi. What more could he do as he is no Galileo.
Street Cry is suffering from having to many trained in house by their over faced trainers.
Megaglia d'Oro was a one horse sire so no suprise he has fallen flat.

He mightnt be a Galileo but he now stands for a few Euro short of what Montjeu did before his death. IMO that link you put up shows his Grp1 performers of 2012 its a disappointing list for what he is covering IMO unless your looking towards Meydan. Good winning stats can be found for a lot cheaper.
Shamardal another ill add gone walkies aswell.

Thats basically why I created this thread. Is that the case, what changes so drastically :?

I think that with Bertolini and Kheleyf we can't blame Darley as the two were pile'em high and sell'em cheap really who exceeded expectations. Royal Applause, Bahamian Bounty and Acclamation are great examples of 'Tart's Drawers' types who are wholly dependent on their book sizes and quality to place them wherever in the stallion tables.
I am hoping to get round to placing a list on here of those stallions we should be looking at to try and take advantage of an 'Acclamation Bounce' a few years down the line.

yes but are these crops the ones that were concieved before he was a hit on the track. The ones for around 15K so yuo are judging 15k fees on his high stud fees and better mares.
Darley would just say look at the list here at almost 20% stakes horses that looks good, g1 class maybe a bit low but with better mares could easily rise and if numbers mainted looks very good.
Mind most studs have problems with stallions after the first book I mean where is Fasliyev now?
Plus to many horses with their in house trainers does not do the sires any favours. They are not good enough and to many horses do not reach the heights they should do.
