Half way through 2012 and there is no clear sign as to the top sire in terms of UK race wins. A surge of winners for Pivotal takes him to the top and Royal Applause also had several in the last 3 days.
The table shows the list of sires followed by number of wins in GB during Jan-June 2012 followed by the June total.

As we get close to the end of July, one stallion that did well last year has recovered some form. Exceed and Excel is missing from my list above but seventeen wins so far in July including 3 more today jumps him up to 48 in total. Detailed list at the end of the month, but suffice to say that there is only 3 wins between the top 4.
