Can anyone tell me the sire of my foal filly, pictured here a couple of days after she was born? Always surprised by some people's knowledge on this forum and I wonder if anyone can guess correctly?
Well it could be Helvellyn but perhaps doesn't quite have the head.
I would be fairly confident Danzig line and prob through Danehill. Danetime route?
Myboycharlie, Baltic King?
It's a very silly game cyclops. So I suspect you were confident that I'd get involved!!

Oops. Now you see why I don't get too involved on the NH threads - not got much of a clue I'm afraid. I've never even been to a N.H. stud!!
Good luck to y'all!
P.S.Mind you I might just say that I've bred a placed horse in The Grand National, but that you will understand was somewhat accidental!

looking at the 'photo to me it does not seem an out an out jump foal,I thought it was a flat foal but with recent discussions about potential jump sires I'll go for Dubai Destination.I'm I right?

Great call Prima Donna. Where shall I send the champagne? A great looking filly (second foal) with wonderful limbs who I hope will give us some fun in years to come. Mare mated with Fair Mix this time around. Most impressed by your confident call. Knew this forum wouldn't take long to work it out. What was it about her that you felt was typical of the sire?

Well I have seen a few of his foals and they've always impressed me,all his have plenty of bone unlike foals by Vinnie Roe as mentioned above.I've seen the stallion years ago when he was in NMKT trained by Luca Cumani typical great sort by Night Shift.Fair Mix is showing promise Linamix has a decent Jump stallion son in France Martaline good luck with it cyclops.

I doff my cap, Prima Donna. The mare's first foal was by Tobougg. Chunky and close coupled (now a two year old). Didnt want to spend much on a stallion for the first foal. Any views on Tobougg?

He's alright without setting the world on fire, but does get good sorts so he's not such a bad choice for a cheap first cover.I did think he looked like he would do well with his jumpers but now I think he could very quickly go the wrong way,but he may just be ok.John Haydon who stands him is a nice guy but I can't help thinking with them I hope they don't make the same mistake they did with Double Trigger trying to appeal to flat breeders as for me they have ruined him commercially at least.I did see Tobougg had some foals last Dec' at Tatt's and I thought at the time wrong sale! That would be a concern for me if I had used Tobougg........is he being marketed the right way?

She's called Cee Cee Rider. Bought her from the Chuggs.Won a race for us and had a few places. Not badly bred - a Classic Cliche half sister to several winners - and stayed well. Taking to being a broodmare extremely well and we're hoping to have fun with her offspring, though a colt next time would be a plus. Interesting comments about Tobougg. Wouldnt disagree. One of his sold well (42,000 euros from memory at the Land Rover sale)but hasnt had too much to get excited about yet.
