I thought that Darley were quick to move him on, it came as some surprise. He had just hit a quiet spot commercially and in their defence 9 times out of 10 they would probably have made the right choice, as sires that have question marks usually just head in one direction.
They should certainly have tried him at Dalham Hall though as they often do swap his type to good effect. His profile reminds me very much of a recently deceased horse into who's shoes he could have stepped very successfully in my mind, Verglas.
