Would you go to High Chapparal at $25k ? OK, he gets the odd headliner, but he's no sire for the sales unless you've got something really nice. Seems overpriced to me.

High Chapparal has actually had 32nd stakes winners worldwide. On balance you've got to say thats not a bad return for a stallion still relatively young.

If you stand in NH at 20-25k and you're median barely reaches that in the last 5 years then you're a no go. They're probably only hanging on with him as part of the campaign to glorify SYT.

Hanging on in the NH is what I meant, where I understand they will want breeders to pay big for SYT. The aussies can do as they like (which should be buy bucket loads of european sold High Chaps at 1/3rd of the fee they pay).

SYT will win the Lockinge is Frankel doesn't go, the lads will be smiling then, all they'll need then is for himself not to show up in the Queen Anne and then bobs your Uncle, a duel Group 1 winning miler. The only other classy 3yo miler Excelabration is already under the Coolmore banner, the Triumvirate couldn't have planned it better. Don't say ye weren't told, and book early

Very lucky to have used Montjeu last season as he is out of reach now although a foal share might be an option as they liked the mare this year. Hard to really gauge the market at the moment so there wont be any rash decisions but we're thinking about Canford Cliffs,Alfred Nobel,RIP,Danehill Dancer there should be a nice deal for all four, not so sure about there NH stallions yet as it looks like the amount there covering is just going to absolutely flood the market.

Anyone think that Coolmore made a bit of an ugly duckling out of this fella the way that they campaigned him after the Irish Guineas, now I realise they may never of intended standing him themselves but, this was a horse that had a sexy enough profile to be Tom Seagal's ante post tip for the Guineas in the spring, all the pacemaking jobs and runs over the wrong trip have effectively shredded his repupation as a Group 1 horse.

Surely ... Roderic O'Connor whom won the Group 1 Criterium International at two and finished second to Frankel in the Dewhurst, also this season's Irish 2,000 Guineas.
The Galileo/Danehill cross that has produced Frankel, Golden Lilac, Maybe and Teofilo. Dam Secret Garden was a stakes winner for the Sangster family and is a granddaughter of Durtal, a half-sister to Arc winner Detroit (herself dam of another winner of the race in Carnegie).Detroit is also third dam of Banimpire ( Eu 2.3 million at Goffs last Friday).
