Many years ago I worked for Philip Mitchell and whilst he was undeniably a decent chap he was also guilty of moments of smug dickedness.
Dansili has never been nailed on commercially as he is not a consistent getter of commercial types. Use a high class mare with him and it can all go horribly wayward - may breed a runner mind - come sales time.
Just how many owner breeder types are there out there?
Emulous and the Matron stakes provide the group 1 this time. 16 years old in 2012 - what am I missing here this time?
J M your comments please.

"guilty of moments of smug dickedness" - you've left it late PM, but right there is a contender for quote of the year!
He's had 35 or 36 runners in 2011 with a RP rating of 100+ which is undeniably good. But for 65K, let alone 75K, I'd prefer to see more G1 action because as admirable as they are, Delegator, Famous Name and Bated Breath leave me wanting a little bit more. Of course the good ones sell well, but they'd have to at that fee. Wonder what would make more in aggregate- one Dansili at 75K or 10 Champs Elysees at 7.5K?

J R I was a bit surprised by the size of that fee drop. I wonder what the upcoming foal sales may tell us about Camp Ely. I wonder if the foals aren't as impressive as early reports?
Certainly a wait and see for Dec Sales. Then, if they are a really good even bunch, I would say there are quite a few worse bet 3rd seasoners out there.

I was quite surprised that d----dness got throught the betfair censor! (Hence I shan't try again)
I like your algebraic formula for the full brothers! Food for thought.
Can't help thinking that we three 'luminaries' are likely to be pretty representitive of the cornflake choking breeders Racing Post readers.

I'd imagine most of the RP readers couldn't afford a Dansili nom (bit like myself ), but would find his fee an unnecessary hike nevertheless.
Surprised you got d*****ness through too, although you should have seen the trouble I had when I posted Mike de K**ks name on an earlier thread - almost got a two year ban..........

In fairness to Juddmonte the leaving or reducing of fees for all but one is admirable. I think the owner/breeder profile of the stud and many of there stallions lets them assume Dansili will take another rise. I could make an alarmingly close relation to a serious french colt by using a DanehillxHasili Struggling to convince myself that CE will convince the buyers and Dansili is out of my league. Suck it up and move on is probably the call. Zamindar at 10k is a nice price if timing is right for looking for a filly and Beat Hollow appears unable to work commercially but is a snip at £5k (no other horse at that fee has a better runner to winner ratio plus two or three proper horses)
