Apologies gentlemen, I don't have any fee details, but I can tell you that he's going to stand at Coolmore in 2012

J M  You're a belter with your Scoops.

Are you sure your boss isn't a meglomaniac Aussie going by the name of Murdoch?

Whateva! Keep 'em coming. Cool

Thankfully no, PM. Although I could use a little budget for phone-tapping should any of my contacts fall by the wayside (better add the word 'allegedly' here - you know how litigious they can be)!

How would you price him and do you think they will persevere with Strategic Prince? Zoffany was very clearly decent at two and no disgrace beaten by Frankel and Mutual, but ultimately without a win at three.

not gonna run at the breeders cup or is that his last race?

Well as I'm a daft slightly principled - I said slightly - fellow, I would forgive him the lack of win at 3 for at least they tried!

He does seem to have lost his way now and I've always had the family down as being rather hot so perhaps he has just boiled over. I would need to see him as one reservation would be that he might look a little less precocious than he actually was.

Presumably he will join the other 2yo only types at around 5k. I wonder though if he might warrant a little more than that?

I'd give Strategic Prince until the end of next year, he has after all had a G1 winner and as has already been pointed out on the forum before, although he was a 2yo his pedigree says 3yo +.

I can see Zoffany standing at anything from 7.5K - 12.5K.  I can't see him as being as cheap as 5K.  The marketing team will be pushing the old top class at 2, got closer than anyone else to Frankel, another couple of yards and he would have won and a quote from AOB saying what great "tactical speed" he had etc etc....

ZoffanyLaugh I can't believe they are standing this pig. 5k about right for him IMO. People paying 10k for this fella deserve to lose their money

Zoffany had a very nice turn of foot as a 2yr old saw him at the track a few times. He was a very nice looking 2yr old out nice and early aswell so I could see the appeal.
IMO Murtagh had him figured where Moore screwed up in the Jean Prat plus a bad campaign for his last two races have left a bad mark with racing fans. He has finished ahead of Strong Suit twice so I have no doubt he is a decent animal

A Group 1 winning 2YO by a warm sire. If Baltic King can find a way to stud then so can this guy.
