All will be revealed by middle of next week, possibly earlier. He's going to a 'proper' outfit though. My understanding is that they'll wait for Foret result before announcing fee. How would you price him?
Report potentialmillionaire September 30, 2011 2:26 PM BST
The Foret's a great choice isn't it. You get to add another Gr 1 if you win, but it's one of the easier races to 'bury' if unsuccessful.

I've always thought 10 - 12. But if it's Ballylinch we can expect 25 - 30 Laugh

Johnny Mustang,
I see you phrase Dream Ahead's destination as a 'proper outfit'I know of one stud owner who often says things like "he's a proper horse with proper form" and so on,I wonder if that man who I know was looking for a new stallion is the owner of the stud where Dream Ahead will end up...........the stud is perhaps Morristown Lattin stud the man Gay O'Callaghan? You sound to me like you know,I'd guess his fee will be 10/12k euros, does that sound about right or am I completely wrong?
Report Johnny_Mustang September 30, 2011 7:45 PM BST
Definitely not Gay O'Callaghan, Prima. Actually, I really don't know what his fee will be, but could easily see him between €10K - €15K (yes, that's quite a range!).

Johnny M,
If you know where the horse is going and you must then what's with all the cloak and dagger stuff? Why don't you just tell everyone what you know,or if its top secret info then perhaps we all can wait until its all official, after all know one knows who any of us are so what's the harm?I certainly can wait to hear the official announcement.I'd think 15k euros is top heavy if that's what the 'proper' place are thinking

If starspangledbanner could stand for e15K and entice such luminaries as PotM over I see no reason why Dream Ahead wouldn't stand for the same amount.

What counts as a proper outfit these days anyway? Rathbarry? Derrinstown?

Prima, goodness you're pushy Happy! Subject to the usual veterinary procedures, he'll be standing in Co. Kilkenny.

That would be a significant change in direction for them if that was the case midas.

Well Done JM for giving the heads up on this fellows destination. As a well known fat oaf would say "the faces they knew"
