Can't remember when I last looked forward to the King George and Q.E. so much.
Can't remember enjoying a race less. Awful.
Then I tuned into the news and checked the latest on Oslo.
We all follow this game for it's glorious uncertainty and the chance to dream. That's taking a knock right now with reality smacking us about a bit.
The Fun will re-commence and the reality will temporarily recede once more. Bad luck though to the Rothschilds for picking the wrong race to win, and to everyone in the stands who chose the wrong year to go.
The guys in blue don't deserve that empty box in the morning for sure.

Couldnt wait for the race and it just all went so downhill.
Sad loss for Godolphin and Rewilding never got the praise he deserved either imo.

Excellent post, PM, fully agree. A real pity that one of the jewel's in an excellent season's crown turned so sour and a tragedy for Godolphin, but the dreams will return and rightly so.
Was there yesterday a day I will never forget,poor poor Rewilding what a sad end for him and such a shocking anti climax for his connections,I agree with jmc27 he never really got the credit he deserved.I know how it feels to loose one that way its numbing.On a happier note Acclamation is doing so well lots to look forward too.
