Kings Theatre was euthanized after complication post colic surgery on June 13th.A son of Sadler´s Wells and winner of 2 x GR1s in "93/"94 (The Racing Post Trophy and King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes).Standing at Ballylinch Stud on the Mount Juliet Estate in County Kilkenny he was 20 years old. He was a successsful dual-purpose sire presently in 4th position on the NH sires list.

Great shame. At least we wil have another 6 crops of decent hurdle/chase progeny to look forward to. He is the first sire I look for in bumper/novice hurdles.
A huge loss. Great strike rate and seemed to throw every type of individual. Will be sadly missed.
I only just found out, love so many of his offspring. Very sad.
