What sad news from the Irish National Stud.

Verglas was such a solid sire and an interesting cross for our mares and unlike most 'new' things that we try, he actually knitted well with a lot of home mares.

Every year I got close to using him and I now get to kick myself that I never got round to it.

Best wishes to all involved with the horse.

Lovely horse, visits to the national stud will not be the same with him gone.
