Ive chosen this fellow but I suppose you all will have your own thoughts. As has been said on here many times most stallions fail to live up to expectations when they head off to stud but this fellow for me has been a real disappointment.
It looks like he's been standing in his box for the best part of 4 seasons. Shame, I thought he was a tough and genuine performer who was there or there abouts against some of the top horses of his generation.
Being by Darshaan you'd have hoped he'd have passed on a modicum of ability to his off spring or more likely to any broodmares.

If your appeal is limited - 117 rated son of Darshaan with no real 2yo form and a very poor Gp 1 to your name - then you're facing a hell of a struggle against the next big thing with 150 1st crop foals on the ground.
So as you rightly say, most stallions are on a one way trip to nowhere and it can't come as much of a surprise when one with limited commercial appeal from the off gets there quicker than most perhaps.
