A very insignificant bumper at Ludlow will not attract much attention but this horse comes from a very good line of winners going back 40 years and more. The late Arthur Smith and family have bred loads of winners from their foundation mare Polyandrist. Cuckolder, Cornuto, Philogyny, Trigamy, and more recently, Emma Peel are all high class relatives of Parsnip Pete.

Ouch! I overlooked Arthurs Pass who ran in the Smith colours last year but has now been sold. Half brother to Parsnip Pete.

Very pleasing result. Breeding so important in races where none of the runners have experience.
