Following the publication of the catalogue, DBS Managing Director Henry Beeby said:
‘This sale has an outstanding record for success on the racecourse and having been the only sale to sell a European Classic winner we are delighted that we have again broken new ground by selling the top rated two year old of 2010 in Dream Ahead. He is an extremely exciting prospect for 2011 but graduates of his calibre are not unique and Group 1 winners, Royal Ascot winners and Top Class two year olds are exactly what this sale is famous for whilst we are proud of the fact that this sale continues to be Europe’s Leading Breeze Up for Winners year on year. As a result of this success we are delighted that vendors have shown great faith in DBS and helped us to put together a catalogue that is nothing short of exceptional. Whilst the pedigrees are some of the best to have ever featured at this sale, the DBS inspection team are delighted with the physical specimens that have been put forward by our professional band of vendors and we are confident that this sale will appeal to purchasers looking to race horses on every continent and has all the requirements for a Premier League Breeze Up Sale’
