Hot on the heels of Dark Angel having a bad time of it with his first runners and subsequent retraction, comes this headline in today's paper:

'Serious Attitude's Keeneland sale provides a dream ending'

A dream ending for Fasig-Tipton actually, because that's where she was sold.

Watch out for another 'production error' message in tomorrow's paper.........

Actually Potential I feel slightly mean and I'm not having a go at the Post per se because we all make mistakes. That said, on the same page today is another headline "Beenficial two-year-old tops bidding at €24,000, when in fact it sold for €34,000. I think Tatts NH sale needs all the help it can get, without having a third of the top lot's price being wiped off incorrectly.

J.M. Don't feel sorry for them. Sloppy journalism gets right on my t.ts. If there is one thing in life that should be accurate it's journalism. We indulge the hell out of them by reading their pearls of wisdom - after all no-one gives a monkeys when I open my mouth - and the least they could do is try and be grammatically and factually correct.
Is there no way a sub editor could have a quick read through before an article gets published, then the simple mistakes would just disappear.
   Keep ranting! ( I don't know if you've noticed but I do Laugh  )

You should have been on the horse racing forum where one of the forumites posted a piece from one of their writers on the breeders cup commenting on Goldikova

"Tries Dirt for the 1st time after her success on the pro ride at Santa Anita" !!!!
