To be fair to them it may just be a slip-up on behalf of the sub-editor rather than the writer... But, even so: does anyone else feel that they have to buy the Post not for enlightenment but just in case they miss something, and usually end up thinking "that was a bit of a waste of £1.70" (or however much it costs these days!). I think it's becoming quite hard to find good (= useful) bloodstock coverage in print these days - or am I just turning into a grumpy old man? (Not half as grumpy as whichever sub-editor has already been shouted at by the Post's bloodstock team this morning, mind you!)

The RP seem to have replaced journalism with a fixation on 'live blogs' at the sales. I've never quite understood the point of this when interested parties are either at the sales anyway or watching live on the Tattersalls/Keeneland website. Can the Bloodstock editor please write some articles about Bloodstock !
