70% of a horse "staying " ability is down to the dams side why is such an importance put on sires preferences for differing types of going?
Or is it for going preferences sire is dominant .

I believe such anecdotal 'evidence' has in no way been proved by geneticists geoff m, so I won't join in and muddy the waters any further!
