Cape Blanco's five and a half length demolition of a high quality field at Leopstown rang out like Russell Crowe asking the baying hordes " Are you not entertained". He is a group 2 and 3 winner at 2, won the premier derby trial and lingfield and ran a decent 2nd to older horse Harbinger in the KG, but will his none preformance in the french derby greatly affect his stud value and will he have to have a 4year old season or will another G1 suffice as the ICS is one of the highest rated G1's of the year

A 4 year old season.  Rip Van Winkle is another son of Galileo so I cant see them retiring two similar horses at the same time.  He appears sound and is improving so why not have another season.

RVW hasnt exactly made the grade this year, Coolmore havnt a son of Galileo at stud, and if CB wins the arc or the Champion stakes and maybe a tilt at the BC Classic he's have to be packed off to stud at the expense of RVW, lets face it he has been nothing but hyped and his flashes of brilliance have been few and far between

Always said this was a good horse, and had a fair chance of staying 1m4f on pedigree ( which he did ).
