My guess is the strong interest to keep him in the UK was from a jumps stud,as sadly there is little place for this sort of horse in the commercial world of flat breeding.Hope he does well out in Japan and they look after him.

The big negative about Harbinger as a stallion is his siblings, none of which have set the world alight as far as I can see. I am a huge Dansili fan but there are other good Dansili colts from better families.
