Reduced to one article a week this summer it seems at the expense of Nancy Sexton's Bloodstock week on a Thursday; which quite frankly is a pale immitation. After a brief improvement, the bloodstock section of the RP has hit an all time low for me lately.

I think being a bit 'prickly' especially about one stallion in particular not to mention his barbed comments which you could take two ways about the stallions owners,just sealed his fate and hence his 'sidelined' approach.A great shame,I agree with Black Sam Bellamy Nancy Sextons articles are poor by comparison.

May have asked this before but the part of his column with the breeding lines and the details - where does that come form? wetherbys?

Did he jump or was he pushed? I sort of assumed that he was a bit older than before and had reduced his workload a bit deliberately?
