I just assumed Sea The Stars would be shuttling but a racingpost article says he has finished for the season and makes no mention of shuttling. Is there an obvious reason that I am missing why he is not going to shuttle. I know they would have to find a stud to take him but surely that wouldnt be too hard.

Ruffian. Horses of his value rarely shuttle.

As far as i'm aware this is extremely rare, and i certainly can't imagine that they'd do it with a first season sire. Maybe in a few years time if his offspring seem to run really well in another continent, for example on American dirt, then possibly it would be beneficial to send him over there to cover a large book of local mares etc.

I would be surprised if STS shuttled at the moment,but If his stock don't seem to be great runners up here and he goes off the boil,then perhaps he might do so,but like Pot M is alluding to the Tsui family don't strike me as needing the green and crispies in the same way the rest of us do.

I read he'd covered 140+ mares by end of July @ 85k Euros a pop... 10 million pounds already!

I think Sewards Folly would be somewhere inbetween 130 and 140 in the quality stakes!
