Sometimes this country hacks me right off. That anyone can go through life being this STUPID beggars belief.

Different levels of intelligence, i'm prepared to believe Mr Dowling knows what it takes to eke out as much as possible from gullible viewers. Quite shrewd I think.
I think that Belo with his stupid act is quite clever, certainly above average IQ. Reade is another matter, I reckon she pretends to be very stupid, when in fact she's just a bit stupid.
Bell-end plays up to his 'thick' image. Reade, well, her hair colour says it all really.
