It strikes me that the producers made the decision that the Chantelle & Preston storyline was the chosen narrative for UBB. However, in truth, neither of them have the 'weight' to make the story work. They would have been better putting bigger characters in the house and to have ditched C & P.

Agree LG, I'm suprised they went with them, I suppose they think it will get the show some mag and newspaper coverage.
Their spot could have been better used imo.

Chantelle obviously still loves Preston but my best guess is that he split up with her because she was not on the same intelligence level and he did not find her interesting or stimulating, which is ironically how viewers feel about Preston!

Isn't the truth that Preston is nicer, more intelligent and more substantial than the show has shown and that Chantelle, although perfectly nice, is pretty dumb? I honestly don't mean to be mean, but she doesn't seem to have much to stimulate
