My one consolation from a personal point of view is the virtual guaranteed demise of John James. I wonder if his association with Josie will cost her?

just annoyed fll - took my eye off market for half an hour and a series-long position gets seriously compromised - doesn't help when most of the high st turns away your bets. But as you say, Corin still in there with a decent chance and Josie not a loser for me, but not a big winner either.
Personally I'm surprised so many people are certain John James will be first out next Friday. He is capable of turning the house round and turning viewers around.

Corin fans need to be savvy enough to vote out Steve and Dave, the 2 HMs I would assume she is fighting out those 3rd and 4th eviction spots with.
Sometimes johnny it works better for you in the long term to pass on these short term arbs. Forunately for me I had 2 corals nearby where between me, my wife and my daughter we got 1200 on female @4/6 and 200 josie 11/8. Whenever I can I bet cash the one thing the bookies hate is being trimmed on something like today would suspect most who got on today will get a mark.

That's a good point Topper, though now you mention that strategy, I wish I'd thought along the same lines and legged it down to my local Coral with a big bag of reddies and piled in 
Im retiring from this account when the labour leadership is decided. I have another account ready to go but it would have been foolish to scupper it before the x factor and celeb, it works better if you can do things quickly over a relatively short period the other thing I would advise is to put some longer term bets in there, e.g. x factor winner because ante post stakes show in your stakes but not your returns.

OMG - they've done it again. Let JJ off the hook. Jo came down on him like a ton of bricks cos he did say it. All the others apologised - Andrew etc - whereas he wouldn't back down as usual. Aamazing how John James manages to portray himself as not the guilty party in these situations, aided by some very generous editing.
I know I am going to be shot down, but if things are as we understand them then Josie should be 1.5 or less. I just don't know what more Corin has to offer after by far her worst week. She doesn't look to me to have a change of gear. As for the rest - who can realistically beat Josie?
