...or at least as the majority on this forum would've seen it anyway. That super-scamp Sam continues to show Josie up for the evil faker she is, while the JJJ 'relationship' becomes more of a boring, phony sham than ever before.
Alternatively, Josie continues to show strength and humour in dealing with the attentions of odious playground-bully Sam, while the JJJ relationship - like it or not, THE storyline of BB11 - still wins over fans of the show. When JJ was in the DR saying he was missing Josie, my g/f went "aaah" with instinctive sympathy. I later asked her if she liked their relationship; she said yes, and that she likes Josie now "much more" than she used to.
Just to provide a bit of balance, like

It's getting a bit monothought on here, that's for sure.
I think there's still a long way to go. The JJJ relationship always needed testing, and that's exactly what's happening. They will either emerge from it stronger, or not at all, but it needed doing. Meanwhile, the odds-on fave has been emotionally tested only once so far (the JJ meltdown). These things matter in the final week imo. |

dj - many of these tweets are from people who previously liked Josie and the whole JJJ thing.
They're not DS obsessives and cynics. Josie is shipping support and is all but finished imo and JJ could follow suit soon. As for book talking, that's what many on here were doing when they dismissed Corin as an orange monstrosity. |

Serious point: I do think think the forum is becoming digispy for gamblers. I don't mind the odd ramp in jest, but people really do seem a bit weird this year.

It's not balsamic. There's a lot of banter, and provocative/OTT stuff written for entertainment too. If we all have to sit through the series, as well as hoping to make a tidy profit, I for one want to make sure it's as fun as possible. But the views I express, are backed up by a long-term view of how I genuinely see it shaping up.
2/3 weeks ago Corin was out to 10s or whatever it was and I was echoing fll in stating on here that for me she was standing out as the nicest HM in there. And I was seeing some pretty unlikeable traits in Josie that appear to have since come home to roost. Still a way to go... |

Balsamic I like hearing from you and dj, the forum works best with all viewpoints. But I think the anti JJJ comments here are reaction rather than action. What I mean is that JJJ has been built up to be Romeo and Juliet by many viewers, when clearly it isn't, JJ1 has been completely asexual. BB viewers are not normally so irrational (but they are changing now). Gamblers have to believe in, and seek for, objective reality, annoyance at the feminine illogicality of the viewers and annoyance at the unclear motivations of JJJ is natural. |

It's reporting back on the live feed and entering into debate with others - what forums are about. I've said, by all means post a counter view of proceedings and I will consider it. You are starting to sound like someone getting very nervous holding a big green on JJ.
I would recommend reading the Specials forum over a period of time, get a feel for the forumites who consistently have insightful contributions to make, and appear to know their sh*t, and then make up your own mind. I know my own track record and it's a very good one but feel free to ignore my observations. |

Henry, good post. However, the problem is that I think a lot of views expressed on here are actually the personal opinions of (secret) BB fans combined with some serious book-talking, rather than any objective gambling attempts to tap into the 'feminine illogicality of the viewers'

for the first time today they really focused on how much time they spend together and using the other HMs to put accross that point of view. Don't think it was a good show for Josie think its now a clear 2 horse race between Corin and JJ. Corin a deserved favourite because theres a huge unknown about what JJ would do if Josie went which is now a decent possibility. He could walk or it could push him over the line.
Think JJs support will hold up because he is being shown as more light hearted on the highlights (how he interacts with Sam for example) wheras Josie is being shown as someone that either spends her time in bed with JJ or arguing and getting wound up by Sam. |
