Against my better judgement this guy could actually be a runner

He's been in the house 12 hours and has had more decent moments than half of them added together

My pleasure George, I'm still greener on him than Corin, which is probably taking it too far, but I'll leave him for now.

Don't think Corin is overpriced, but you'll get a run

I haven't seen any LF of him, I fell asleep straight after the 2nd HL show, Sam's got great humour, much needed in there, but the crux is does he have humility too? Otherwise he could just be a sh1t.

He can have a run just with point 1 in this field Henry

Plenty have.

Angel traded at 7s for the virtue of being weird iirc

But to answer point 2, his humour doesn't seem overly malicious

I'm not sure he will have much humility.  IMO he seems so oblivious to the feelings and opinions of others, he's verging on Aspergers.

And to think so many of us wanted fat black man in (including me, thinking of my ANother green), who would have probably been a thick boring dullard (despite his claim to high IQ).

It's great that he doesn't seem in the slightest bit fazed by the other big "characters" in the house and the fact that they have been there for a long time, and is able to go steaming in straight away.

Unlike previous drips who just retreat into their shell.  JJ2's head is so firmly up JJJ's @rses you barely notice he is there, complete waste of space.

Steve is an utter koont

Having a nice convo with Sam last night about the work Sam does in schools etc. Nicey nicey

He could easily be buried by the prods this week, but may prove more difficult to switch off than Arnold Scharwtzenegger in that film

From Ch4:

He is also irritated by ..... really camp gay guys
His vest he's wearing right now suggests he's a gayer

and gets easily wound up by those who are loud, crazy and attention-seeking
pot kettle

Believing he'll made a good leader in the house, Sam claims he will do well in tasks by working hard to organise people and solve issues. However, this leadership role might be hard for him to get, as people who aren't his friends can quite often dislike him and find him annoying!
This could be a laugh, just what the house needs

The 'this is our house and he's an intruder' factor kicking in properly

The eviction market could be good this week

About 10 but Jonty, much though I loved him, had much of the sad ageing perv about him. Unlike this guy.

However, the new housemate was quick to confront Josie over the comments she has made about him during the past week.

"I didn’t like what you said to other people," she said. "That’s why you're here, 'cause I went on about how annoying you are. Even Govan had a go at you."

"Yeah but look at Govan," Sam replied.

However, while Josie offered to "wipe it all clean" with the new housemate others remained unimpressed.

"You look familiar Andrew," Sam said

"Well yeah, I'm on Big Brother," retorted Andrew - leading JJ to comment that he "does not look happy with Sam's arrival".

Very funny again from Andrew.

I really like the guy. It's a pity he's more geek freak than geek chic to most viewers.
He'd be much more popular if only he'd decided to spray paint the walls of oxford rather than study maths there.
