given his wide knowledge on countless topics gives him a very big edge in the house imo, he also has the ability to turn any conversation into humour....he has a side of nasty nick to him, a bit cunning and devious and sly...the way he lied about the tree task making it out to be something to do with shabby's hats was an example.
thinks fast on his feet, a lot more to come from benny boi...in a good way.
even the bad things he does, he nearly always comes out of them situations smelling of roses.

Maybe not GB.
He'd have gone close though.

The big difference between freddie and Ben is that Freddie went from 'victim' to arrognt c0ck.
Ben is already an arrgant c0ck, but people still love him.
So unless he gets significantly more arrogant he should hold onto his support

..and so many of his faults.
His plotting and mild b1iching, or his bumbling and failing in tasks always tend to lead to comedy, so he gets away with it and people just like him more

Would be amazed if Ben isn't fav at some point this week. It'll be a laying opportunity though ;-)

Surprised you could still get 7.2 after this evening.

Ben will be a 3/1 shot in the highstreet tomorrow when people see the polls, probably be around 5.2/3 on here...with everyone topping up on any other by laying.
deffo should be fav, given males tend to have a better strike rate.

By comparison Fred traded 2.8 - 3.5 with around 35% on DS

i'd also like to add, Ben has a lot to say just like jj does...both have a lot of views on whats going on in the house...but ben puts his view across very well.
given the amount he talks he's always got a wealth of airtime for the HL show.

Hi HenryVIII, just noticed your question - sorry for not answering sooner. No, I'm not that Nick H mate, I'm a pro punter (mainly spread betting but also horses) from Herts.

Kitten .....

I promise you that I was trying to help stop you losing money on Ben - it drives me mad that someone with so much enthusiasm for Big Brother is so easily led by Digital Spy, which as I've said many times before is totally the wrong demographic, and very misleading.

Ben is far too posh and pathetic to win this show - and YES, I'm serious that Nathan is the value - there is a VERY long time to go and he is safe from noms with the strong possibility of forming bonds quickly with the new HMs. He hasn't done much yet but tries hard in the tasks and could shorten dramatically as soon as it's his turn to get a ToT task. He has a good profile historically (right age, working class, reasonable looks, safe from noms) and COULD win. I think Josie and Corin have significantly stronger chances but he IS the value in my opinion.

Nick I wouldn't worry about Kitten, Ben's price was much higher when Kitten started supporting him. And as for being led by Digital Spy, it's more the other way around, I still laugh when I think of the "rich boy" Freddy pimping thread.

and therefore probably did many on here a favour.

It's not DS where Ben is doing well in the Polls. He is top of TIBB poll and will probably be top of Big Brother online when it opens. Also joint leading or leading some others. Nathan's % in Least Fav polls is more than his % in Fav polls- not a good sign at all. I just can't see Endemol wanting him to win- he would bring any thing new to the table.

Looks like the initial HM reaction is 'what do you expect from Ben'?

Hi scampi

Personally I completely ignore all polls and prefer to rely on BB history instead with the final night voting demographic firmly at the front of my mind.

Re Nathan - I agree he brings absolutely nothing new to the table, but I really don't think any of them do after 10 series of BB and quite a few Celeb BBs.

I would like to see Josie win, or Corin, and I think they both have excellent chances as they are fundamentally 'nice' people. I also believe Nathan is fundamentally 'nice'. I am in no way saying he has a strong chance but I like taking contrarian positions in markets and in my own mind am convinced he has about double the chance which the market is currently giving him. That means I still think he has a 94% of NOT winning.

All 10 previous BB winners have been fundamentally 'nice' people as well as being in a fairly tight age range, and all have been working or middle class. Sexualitiy and race is irrelevent in my opinion. So, I believe that Josie, Corin, Mario and Nathan are the best fits of past results. Iffe is playing a massive game, Ben isn't a team player on top of the obvious negatives, Dave is too old, Steve is too old but I won't oppose a 'hero'. Caoimhe is a nasty piece of work imo, and Shabby  might possibly have a chance. This is a modest field and I suppose that A.O. could still come int

Should have said the reason I ignore polls is that you never know how manipulated they are, and also we are too early in the series for them to be that important - even if they were straight.

I note he has a Freddie style lead on BBOL, and surely that one opened after him quitting the task?

He has a teflon capability with HM's and the public it seems
