At 02:13 John James made a revelation to Josie and Govan in the Garden. Looking over his shoulder to check that there were no burning ears, he opened up: 'I'm going to be honest with you... I really hate Rachael'.
Much to Josie and Govan's shock, the singleton from Melbourne carried on, 'I don't care how good looking she is, she's irritating me to the point where I'm going to snap'.
Sensing that there was more to this than meets the eye, Govan probed, asking if he would still like to bed the Nottingham beauty. Admittedly, the blonde boy gave a definite 'Yeah', adding 'Probably because of that reason, I can't stand her'.
At this point, Josie jests that she doesn't understand men.
The shocked pair seemed perplexed by his loathing, always believing that John James had a thing for Rachael. However, he protests 'No. She thinks she's the s**t. All my life I've handled girls like that'.

Talk of him feeling he has to choose a group and giving every indication that he'll be joining the group led by Govan.
A very bad move.
I think his decision came from Mario, Dave and Ben discussing who would be the last 4 and the poor aussie wasn't mentioned.
A case of a hurt ego. Maybe the other group will think he can make top 4 ;)

They've been gifted a legitimate reason to nominate Steve with the snoring though. Gives them a valid reason without the need to attack him personally, that I think most the public would accept (the snoring's been shown on nearly every HL show).

I can't see the GBP evicting someone for snoring when there is a whole host of reasons for evicting a lot of the others!

I dont think JJ bitchin about Rachel is all good news for her, JJ has some power in the house.

I went off JJ watching that. As well as a few other things. Not that I particularly like Rachel, but it's quite clear this guy is the Aussie Dale. Too thick to get a point across or understand someone elses, and too up his own ass to concede when he might be wrong.
Furthermore, I note he offered himself up for Mario with the party, and also tried to nominate himself, but when Dave was making his decision he didn't seem to put himself forward then.

Its an unhealthy dislike, for what can only be the flimsiest of issues. Rachel dealt quite well today with a difficult situation does J.J. cut her any slack no he carries on with his one man crusade against her he may win this battle but he wont win the war.

i backed JJ at 9/2 last night after seeing what an idiot he is i wouldnt take a thousand now- i broke the fundamental rule of betting on this show- NEVER have a bet until at least week 3 or 4 (unless youre backing somebody with tourettes) as no other winner was easy to bet by this time line. I deserve to do my money and thats what ive done.

I'm not sure about this...I instinctively don't like Rachel. She thinks a lot of herself, which is okay, but that is expressed as looking down on others. It's an unpleasant combination and isn't fully masked by her social skills. I suspect the public might agree with JJ.
JJ will have massive hetro men behind him, i can fully see where he's coming from, good looking women are very arrogant.
he will also have alot of support from ugly podgy women, who are jelous of rachal's looks...and also giving them hope by being quite close to josie.

What's p!ssing him off more is the fact she keeps saying how she likes him .... if it was one of the odd balls like dave or sunshine she'd be telling them to f.off. JJ knows this and can't comprehend how shallow she is hence the permanent seethe.
im a bit weary of jumping back on though, is this a one off?? or will he attack someone else ??
im really eager to see how he behaves after his next booze up, if he's anything like me...he will K.O for sure

This is no way a one off.
If he's become so wound up with hatred over someones facial expression in the first week, it will happen again. Big brother likes to stir up conflict and on this occassion Big Brother hasn't even pushed for it.
He's also so convinced that he's right and he's done no wrong in this incident. Suggests it's not an unusual thing for him to do.
He also had a go at Corin yesterday for daring to defend Rachael, then later on said that he'd of crushed her had she not apologised (something along those lines anyway). This hasn't been shown on C4 website, but if this is shown tonight, I think his defenders will have a lot less to stand on.

The Corin dig is important. It changes JJ from being 'right' but expressing it in the wrong way, to someone who thinks women should say and do what he wants.

i would lay at that price to, but there has been a lot of talk of 20/1 being his true chance i dont go a long with that
thats mainly me thats spouting that price, i would like to green up and jump back on at that price for sure but i would settle for 15 tbh.its a pivitol 48hours for jj's price imo, he's very popular..one good move from him and he can easily slide back down to 7 ish.

Josie says JJ said he was little at school and the good looking girls didn't want to know. Then he grew up and they were interested but he felt that they didn't want to know him back then so he doesn't want anything to do with them now.

I think his true price is 50/1, but whether he ever gets there is doubtful
well it seems he genuinely does have a chip on his shoulder about good looking women, that explains the minor dig at corin as well.
also explains him spending a lot of time with josie who is not as pretty as the other two (imo and his by the looks of it.)

Also the fact that she said before all this blew up that she didn't really fancy anyone in the house, to a situation now that she is desperate to pull JJ says it all.

it's easy with JJ to see it two ways. Layers can see all the negs (which admittedly there are) But there are lots of positives with him too, and if Rachael goes his price could plummet again.
