At 02:13 John James made a revelation to Josie and Govan in the Garden. Looking over his shoulder to check that there were no burning ears, he opened up: 'I'm going to be honest with you... I really hate Rachael'.
Much to Josie and Govan's shock, the singleton from Melbourne carried on, 'I don't care how good looking she is, she's irritating me to the point where I'm going to snap'.
Sensing that there was more to this than meets the eye, Govan probed, asking if he would still like to bed the Nottingham beauty. Admittedly, the blonde boy gave a definite 'Yeah', adding 'Probably because of that reason, I can't stand her'.
At this point, Josie jests that she doesn't understand men.
The shocked pair seemed perplexed by his loathing, always believing that John James had a thing for Rachael. However, he protests 'No. She thinks she's the s**t. All my life I've handled girls like that'.

Yep, some interesting stuff from our aussie favourite last night.
Talk of him feeling he has to choose a group and giving every indication that he'll be joining the group led by Govan. A very bad move. I think his decision came from Mario, Dave and Ben discussing who would be the last 4 and the poor aussie wasn't mentioned. A case of a hurt ego. Maybe the other group will think he can make top 4 ;) fwiw the 4 or 5 they mentioned were, Steve, Corin, Josie, Nathan and Mario himself. I suspect they're right. |

If they nom him they're gonna look a bunch of khoonts, if they don't he walks, (sorry, shuffles), to the final. |

They've been gifted a legitimate reason to nominate Steve with the snoring though. Gives them a valid reason without the need to attack him personally, that I think most the public would accept (the snoring's been shown on nearly every HL show).
When people start to struggle to think of reasons to nominate, he'll start picking up the noms left, right and centre. |

I can't see the GBP evicting someone for snoring when there is a whole host of reasons for evicting a lot of the others!

I dont think JJ bitchin about Rachel is all good news for her, JJ has some power in the house.
JJ can escape getting nomed for a bit in the mean time rachel has beed identified as a target. |

I went off JJ watching that. As well as a few other things. Not that I particularly like Rachel, but it's quite clear this guy is the Aussie Dale. Too thick to get a point across or understand someone elses, and too up his own ass to concede when he might be wrong.
Furthermore, I note he offered himself up for Mario with the party, and also tried to nominate himself, but when Dave was making his decision he didn't seem to put himself forward then. |

Its an unhealthy dislike, for what can only be the flimsiest of issues. Rachel dealt quite well today with a difficult situation does J.J. cut her any slack no he carries on with his one man crusade against her he may win this battle but he wont win the war.

i backed JJ at 9/2 last night after seeing what an idiot he is i wouldnt take a thousand now- i broke the fundamental rule of betting on this show- NEVER have a bet until at least week 3 or 4 (unless youre backing somebody with tourettes) as no other winner was easy to bet by this time line. I deserve to do my money and thats what ive done.

JJ has alienated vast numbers of the audience in a matter of days.
I think he's largely correct about Rachael, but his reaction is so massively disproportionate it's clearly driven by deeper issues. It's very childish and fits with his puritanical attitudes. No impulse control, no sense of discretion. Already seems to be in the process of blowing up. |

I'm not sure about this...I instinctively don't like Rachel. She thinks a lot of herself, which is okay, but that is expressed as looking down on others. It's an unpleasant combination and isn't fully masked by her social skills. I suspect the public might agree with JJ.

JJ will have massive hetro men behind him, i can fully see where he's coming from, good looking women are very arrogant.
he will also have alot of support from ugly podgy women, who are jelous of rachal's looks...and also giving them hope by being quite close to josie. he's just not going about it the right way. how far can he take this? how nasty does he get with this point? if rachal leaves, will he pick on someone else? |

What's p!ssing him off more is the fact she keeps saying how she likes him .... if it was one of the odd balls like dave or sunshine she'd be telling them to f.off. JJ knows this and can't comprehend how shallow she is hence the permanent seethe.
