Manufactured boyband Nu Vibe became the fifth act to be eliminated from this year's X Factor after losing out in a sing-off to Frankie Cocozza.
The five piece were voted into the bottom two by the public after performing an awful rendition of U2's huge hit 'With Or Without You' on Saturday night, and then failed to impress again in the sing-off when their performance was arguably the most out-of-tune and cringe-worthy song ever performed on the show for a 'supposedly' decent group. Understandably Nu Vibe's mentor Tulisa Contostavlos chose to save her own act and Gary Barlow chose to save his (Cocozza), but the two neutral mentors - Louis Walsh and Kelly Rowland - both decided that the boyband's time was up.

It was billed as a big twist, but it turned out to be a big disappointment for four acts as each mentor painfully sent home one of their own artists.
For Jonjo Kerr, James Michael, and 2 Shoes their exits came as little surprise given their performances on Saturday night and/or their odds in the Winner market beforehand, but for Amelia Lily her exit is a huge loss to this year's competition and I'm not sure the X Factor producers have got this one right.
Lily - who was matched at a low of 4.3 in the Winner market - sang brilliantly on Saturday night, but so too did her fellow Girls category members Janet Devlin, Misha Bryan, and Sophie Habibis leaving mentor Kelly Rowland with an almost impossible decision to make. Rowland was understandably upset at having to send a potential winner...

According to people high up in the show (who the paper referred to as 'sources'), [b]Wagner[/b] is in the top three every week. Every week! So the 4.3 about him to finish in the top three is surely the bet of the century, right? Kudos to the lucky punter who got £7 matched at 500 - Dudley's finest is into just 10.5 now.
Furthermore, the Facebook campaign to get Wagner votes is now over the 30,000 mark - though given Sunday's X Factor audience was 17.7million, it's not that impressive. And weren't Jedward meant to be topping the voting charts this time last year?
