Day three at Wimbledon brought more misery from the weather, as many matches were unable to be completed - or even started in many cases.

At least Olivier Rochus's match with Juan Martin Del Potro got underway and those who took my advice and backed the Belgian at his starting price of 13.0 have made a profit, as he won the first set and is now just 3.45.

Day four's line-up includes Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Maria Sharapova on the show courts, along with a cracking women's match between Li Na and Sabine Lisicki, which is my bet of the day in the Ladies Singles.

Lisicki has been in great form lately after coming back from a series of injuries and illnesses, including appendicitis, ailments in both shoulders, wisdom teeth, stomach problems and a lengthy ankle injury.

She came back from all that to play very well at Roland Garros and was within a whisker of beating Vera Zvonareva there before her body let her down again and she was carried out on a stretcher, but the good times seem to be back now.

The German won on the grass of Birmingham last week and she beat Caroline Wozniacki and Sveta Kuznetsova on her way to the quarter finals of Wimbledon in 2009 - her last appearance at SW19 before the injuries struck.

Lisicki won the Birmingham event without dropping a set and she continued in that vein in the first round here, winning 6-1, 6-1 and she won't be afraid of Li Na either, having beaten her in their only meeting.

That came in straight sets on the clay of Stuttgart this year and at around 2.3 she has to be worth a bet to repeat that win on the grass.

In the men's second round matches today, John Isner looks a good thing to beat Nicolas Almagro in their match, which is scheduled third on Court 18 today.

The pair have never met, but Isner's big serving game should prove too much for Almagro's half-hearted resistance.

The Spaniard has only once in his career won two matches in a row on grass and the victims that time were Juan Monaco and Karol Beck (and both of those were five set matches), and that run should continue today.

Isner eased past old foe Nicolas Mahut in the first round, while Almagro struggled past Nieminen and after one or two tie breaks, the Spaniard's heart will be yearning for the clay.
