Hugo's KQ crushes Phillips 77 when a King falls on the flop and leaves poor Phillip with rubble of about 20k.
Next hand its Phillips BB and he is all in with 68 and Arttu takes him down with J3 and Phillip finishes 4th for £3.1k  |

Hi everyone.
Just wanted to post to thank all of you for your support. I've never met Dave before but he was brilliant. Kept popping over for updates and giving lots of encouragement. The pic is dodgy though Dave. I look a bit grim in it! It was great to meet all of you who were there. I'm sure you all realised that I was very, very excited to cash. It's my first proper live cash. Don't think I'll forget it in a hurry :o) |

Hugo pushes into Aarno on a 9TKQ board and after asking for a count Aarno calls with JT and Hugo turns over AJ and the river blanks and Hugo doubles up again and now has around 900k.

Thanks for the wishes of good luck ... going by the time stamps Doobs was too late rather than bokking me! Good tournament - ran out of cards - push back with KTo into the "button" steal A9s - no help. It was my first visit to the Fox Poker Club ... I will look forward to the next ... All pondering the logistics of Tallinn Live ... all very smooth running. L |

WP Dave. Great reading through this thread. You're a natural at this , but need to work on how you reflect on klup's stylish manoeuvres. Obviously, when they go wrong, I'm just excruciatingly unlucky.
Stuck on train ATM with a 45 minute hold up due to engineering works. Looks like I will get home just in time to get a few hours sleep before coming back in to London tomorrow morning. Time to pull a sicky?? Debs, was lovely to meet you, and your free massage voucher was put to very good use. Fantastic to meet others like trixas, paul, cgull and ovalman as well and nice to run into raj again. Arguably the best Betfair live event this far (from a poker community persective) - really good atmosphere and spirit. |

Absolutely great weekend. Many thanks to all the Betfair guys for organising such a great tourney. The staff and management at the Fox Poker Club were superb. Great tea btw.
Well done to everyone that cashed and especially to my fellow final tablists, it was a pleasure to share poker tables with you, even if I might have been looking miserable for great chunks of it ;) Good work with the updates Dave, Betfair should really book you up for the next one. I only mention it, because you're not the sort of person to wh0re yourself around for these positions. ;) Hopefully see you all at a Betfair or APAT event in the near future. Leigh |
