bet zoom.quality app

I've just downloaded & installed Zoombet and my first impression was of surprise (good & bad) !!

It's clearly an early version and is lacking many needed features, but the speed is very impressive!

The first thing I noticed was the total lack of any manual "refresh" button, but then when I went to a random in-play market, it seemed to be refreshing automatically every second!

It needs:-

1) A favourites/bookmark option
2) A "usual stake" option to automatically fill in the stake column when you click on back/lay to save time.
3) Market depth, Back/Lay % & Amount Matched

I'm looking for anything that makes getting to a market & placing my bet quicker/more automated hence my suggestions (all are on the old java app). [;)]

I've got plenty of other suggestions/comments to help improve the product, but don't want to bombard you all at once!

Thanks - excellent feedback!

You are correct - the prices doesn't need manual refreshing as they are refreshed constanty (network conditions nonwithstanding) - try, for example, a horse racing in-play market to also see the in-play prices graph.
You should be able to see matched amount on market just next to the market status.

Please do share more - there's a list of things to improve in the next versions and all feedback is welcome (especially as it can be quite difficult to include more functionality without compromising ease of use and speed, the most required features are important to hear about!).

I'm interested in how many people are involved with Zoombet, i.e. who are the "ZoomBet Team" ?

I remember maybe 4 or 5 years ago when Betfair Mobile was first released (known then as Mobex) and I was the very first person in the UK to actually get a beta copy to play with in a live environment. [:D]

I like to believe that I assisted the team a lot with my detailed feedback, bug reports and feature requests, of which several are still very relevant & important.

Maybe I should have asked you this in a PM, but can I assist with your beta testing of any/all new releases (this applies also to Betfair Mobile) ?

is it possible to put the time on Greyhound ' Todays Card Markets '. The menu will still leave closed market tabs at the top of the row and can be frustating when you are trying to bet just before the off and you have to go back to the list to find your race, but by the time you get there, the suspend button has been activated.

Kamikaze City - this is already in the works :) Greyhound markets should have time similar to horse racing by the weekend (No update will be neccessary).

The greyhound "time issue" was the next thing I was going to mention as a bug, but have been beaten to it!

The race times are missing everywhere, i.e. in the "Today's Card" plus Evening Cards etc... plus also on the actual greyhound race market it only shows the grade & distance!

As most greyhound races don't go in-play and are automatically suspended on the second of the official off-time, being able to quickly look at the clock on the phone and compare it to the actual race time in a hurry is essential for late betting.

fantastic. also can we have a look at actually putting the ' greyhound todays card ' tab onto the 1st or 2nd page as you log in, it is a popular sport during daily betting activities. It would be so useful to have esp when trying to place a bet quickly just before the off.

Overall, a very good app and love the split second auto refresh!

Kamikaze...I agree with you, but would prefer a general Favourites/Bookmarks option in which you or I could add whatever we wish for quick access after starting the app.

one other important thing is that I cannot edit an unmatched bet when placing through Zoom, even though the option tab is there, nothing happens when I press the tab, I can cancel and keep in play fine, but cannot adjust the price / stake of a bet. Are you aware of this by any chance, anyone else had the same issue?

I'm using HTC Desire HD by the way, if it's any use!

Kamikaze....I pointed out the very same thing a few days ago...

I've used zoom bet lite for a few weeks now and think it's ideal. My concerns are, that the developers will end up making this superbly simple,fast,usable app so bloody complicated and slow (by taking on every Tom,Dick and Harry's suggestions 'for improvement') and quite simply spoil a first class betting app.JUST LEAVE IT ALONE!!
