Seems that they have changed the keyboard layout/mappings in this new version of Betfair Mobile.
Just found out that you can 'delete' by pressing the 'rocker'/cursor key to the left.... |

Just updated to the newer 3.7 version on an old phone that I need to use (always worked 100% before this update), and as per the previous 2 posters, I can ONLY enter numbers from the number pad or the slide out qwerty keyboard (not a touch screen phone) and NOT any letters for the password! :(
The Betfair password can't be all numbers, so this issue must have a sensible resolution as it must have affected many, many people (not interested in betfair lite etc..!!). Help! |

I just had to delete and reinstall for the umpteenth time.
I'm not sure which version I'm using now - the download procedure described it as 3.07(0) but the welcome message when I run it describes it as 3.6. I noticed (on a Nokia N95) that different keyboard mappings are used when entering the password on the download form and when entering the password within the application! On the download form, the 1 key produces a , and the 0 key appears to produce a space. Within the application, they produce 1 and 0 as expected. |

Delete key works when one starts the program first time. Delete key no longer works if one is timed out and asked to re-enter one's password!

I still can't beyond the login screen with the latest Betfair Mobile (v3.7) and have tried everything including alternate java applications with the same issue.
I could ring Betfair customer services, but I think I'd be wasting my time when I start mentioning the new "key mapping" in the latest version which is causing my issues!!! ![]() |
