I've just got an iphone through Orange and am having trouble adding Betfair to my phone - can anyone help.

When I go to the iphone.betfair.com site all I get is some oversized flags and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to log-in or to click through.

I'm using Internet Explorer v7 so I assume there are no compatibility issues?

Thanks in advance for any help.

try iBetting. It's an iPhone app.

I'd read the reviews of iBetting before buying and check out the site at iphone.betfair.com, which is free to use

Just got one today (charging). I had a go on my mates last week and typed in www.betfair.com and had a go, it seemed ok. Or should I be downloading a betfair app to use?

Also can you access racing post, and watch RUK etc? (I am signed up).

If you are finding the iPhone specific pages a little slow on mobile networks give lite.betfair.com a go as it's definitely faster on poor connections that the iPhone specific site.

better still Betfair could spend some of their millions on creating an iphone Application like everyone else has and make it available. heck, i'd pay a fiver for it.

iBetMate on the AppStore is the best iPhone option and is pretty decent.
Report MMP January 8, 2010 12:46 AM GMT
i cant even find it on the app store..

What country are you in? It is currently only available in the UK, Ireland, France, Italy and Spain AppStores.
Simply searching for betfair in these AppStores will bring it up.

I dont see what extra you get using ibetmate than you do from using the betfair iphone site. Id rather save my 3 quid and just use the betfair site.

iphone.betfair.com is the answer for me. Just got the phone and this site works fine. Not sure why anyone would spend money on an app.

The Betfair iPhone site is working again, really flies when I'm on WiFi or using Safari\Chrome on my MacBook.
Have you managed to get it working again since you posted?

Does Ibetmate show the full market or just one back and lay column?
Report betwareGuy March 24, 2010 10:42 PM GMT
It shows the 3 best backs and lays when you hold it in landscape mode. Just 1 of each in portrait mode.
