any tips/hints for using bf on blackberry? have just got one! can you download any apps like you can on iphone

If you go to mobile.betfair.com using your BB browser you will get to the Betfair mobile portal page. From there you can follow the links to either use the browser based product (Betfair Lite) or the Java download.
A couple of things you may have to sort out. It's possible that you will need to get any adult content block removed with your mobile carrier, some of them block Betfair until you do this - normally very easy to do.
Second up is that for some BlackBerry's you have to set a specific APN (Internet Settings for BlackBerry)
Depending on your network this may incur additional costs so worth checking with them if you need to change this (You'll get "Error 27" if you need to update your APN)
Hopefully you won't have any issues but post back if you do and we'll do our best to sort you out! Happy punting!

trying to download it keep gettin htc 400 error. anyone help
same here - error reported to betfair - could be early feb before resolved they say - big probs since their upgrade cos betfair mobile on bberry was perfect before then
got the blackberry smartphone 8520, keeps coming up error 504, any help on getting it sorted? thanks..
I still cant use it and it was perfect for me before, now I have to spend my dinner times on the phone to betfair in order to place my bets.
i finally got my 8520 to install bf mobile but have to be able to get a connections keeps timing out 'no response froms erver 02)
Both 504 and the "no response from server 02" errors mean that the application isn't getting a response from Betfair's systems.
This can happen if you're in an area with poor network connection, and on some BlackBerry devices if you're connected over wi-f, not sure why it's only on BlackBerry that this wi-fi thing happens as my SE works really well on it - I've raised this issue with Betfiar so hopefully they'll get that one sorted soon.
If you're connected to your mobile data network, and Betfair's servers are up and running normally - which they were all weekend for me.
You shouldn't get the 02 or 504 errors.
Post back if you're still getting the issues despite the above, other people may have suggestions that can help.
