Has anyone else got problems logging in since the upgrade. It wont let me use letters, just numbers on my keypad ! Impossible to log in , phoned betfair who said they werent aware of any problems but ' would raise a ticket' !!

yes same problem on Blacberry 8100. If you look at the service notice on this forum, looks like they have made "IMPROVEMENTS " for phones with QWERTY keyboards but now its fooked.

I had a reply to my email and was told to delete the appliacation and then restore. I did this ( already tried it by the way as Im sure we all have !! ) and still doesnt work. Have emailed them back again and will see what they say tomorrow !!!! :(

As a last resort , if you type lite.betfair.com, it will let you log in using keypad. Be warned though, its the old mobile site and very long winded to get markets up and waste of time for in runing.
Im going to phone them up in the morning and see what they say. Its not just Nokia, seems like its loads of different phones. Cant see its anything to do with querty keyboard as i dont have that on my phone.

We are still experiencing some intermittent issues with the mobile download application. Our engineers are working on this and we expect to have a solution soon.

Why not just go back to before the upgrade ?? The new upgrade last wednesday obviously doesnt work with all mobiles !!!!!!

my 4th reply from betfair received 29th Jan and as it will have been 2 weeks on wednesday, we can only hope ( and pray lol ) that it is fixed within the 2 weeks time frame they say !!!

Unfortunately there have been continued problems with the mobile service, and there is no guarantee when this will be working again. It could be as long as two weeks. In the mean-time people are recommended to try and use the lite.betfair.com service. Rather than continually reporting that mobile is not functioning properly (as most of them already know) we will post updates when the services starts working properly again.

As there are a few different issues, it may be that some users are able to use the service again before others, it really depends on what phone they have and the specific error messages they are receiving.

I'm sorry I cannot be any more help that this, but it is unlikely that you will be able to have full functionality on your phone until late next week at the earliest.
