the only time I've ever seen a more obvious example of engineering by NBA refs is when they pushed the Lakers into the playoffs last year

Watching the spurs game you can certainly see why NBA referees have the reputation they do. I think the heat start slow like usual, then get it to together later on and power past the pacers..If the Heat start fast i think this could be a blowout, pacers not good enough..4th Q is shuttlesworth time

only slight bias -i actually thought the spurs were given a great start by the refs last night with those offensive fouls/ turnovers against the thunder (which btw got durant into early foul trouble)

what about 3rd quarter? every OKC attack they were rubbish and the refs would give them free throws
