@ G-man, you're right. Don't think there is much can be done - just a very expensive mistake for somewhere. I'll be putting the spoils towards my trip to Vegas in June!

owen----true that and wise words....hey, if it wasnt you, me and some of the others getting it, well, someone else would have....i have been turned over before on a tennis match that the BBC were showing, and was like a two set lag, so got butned for some, but then noticed the unusual betting and stopped before it got too bad.

Enjoy the Vegas trip mate, nice when it's at someones expense, and might sound vicious and cruel, but that's the way it goes on here, so i have no guilt whatsoever, and am using my dough to fund my trip to Atlantic City in August as well as Saratoga races in upstate New York----free trip

Chose the wrong year not to do the elite eight by the looks.

Glad to see some of the good guys managed to get their share.

in the previous game when butler (the outsiders) were trailing someone kept firing in attempts to back at them at easily odds on for a while. of course the first time i caught one of them those rapidly became the correct odds and i didn't make a profit.

so something funny was going on there too. i suspect a haywire bot.

perhaps it had the two teams mixed up.

I noticed that in the first game - after laying the 1.3 butler came out and hit a 3 pointer so i thought our pictures must be miles behind

centrebet had the scores the wrong way round throughout both matches - so maybe some score feed was messed up

the thing was espn was on a break when the money came in - so i thought they were reviewing the last shot or something, then they came back and were cutting down the nets and the money was still sitting there
never seen anything like it

@STEPTOES YARD
that is exactly what happened to me; I thought of a videw review or something like that; even after they were cutting down the nets....

@curlywurly
It was more than 100k, for the whole game it  was 70k, it ended arround 420K, so it was around 350K, an explanation from Betfair would be nice.
The only explanation I have is that someone hacked to an account and begun dumping the money. Other explanation does not make any sense, because odds had nothing to do with delayed images, or even a mixup of the names of the teams (odds were between 1.5 and 4).

I didn't see this happen, or have the opportunity to capitalise :) , but could it have had something to do with the fact that British Summer Time started (and hence the clocks changed) while the game was taking place? Maybe a bot got confused and thought the game hadn't started and then started laying the winning team at its pre-off price? Bit of an outlandish explanation I know, but this seems to be a rather peculiar occurrence and the reason for it may be equally strange.

A possibly explanation is the TV pics were actually ahead of the live action, which occasionally happens.

LOL---Joel----how n the hell can TV pics EVER be ahead of live action----what in the heck would they be showing?????.....the future???

@Quags

that doesn't make sense, because the winning team was the favourite through all the game; and after it ended odds as high as 4 were matched!! who lays the favourite 4 to 1?
I have the same time zone as UK and it had nothing to do with that; the game ended before the clock change.

G-man, it can happen when the satellites get messed up. Something to do with the space time continium or something.

400k???? OMG i wish i was in this market(it is impossible as i have no idea about this match as i live in greece) but it is reay impressive but i am wondering why there was noone with a huge balance in bf aware of the mistake to take all the money and make a fortune out of nth?u could bet 100k and make at least 70k profit its unbelievable 70% guarantee profit within 10 minutes
