ALL HOLDEN DAY. I think this was about August 2017. Hawkesbury Showground which is right next to Hawkesbury race track at Clarendon. Between Windsor and Richmond.

  I bought this BMW on Ebay for $500. I've always liked the 5 series. This is a 1994 525. The vendor was Carnet Auctions. It was advertised as having suspension problems. Anyway I drove it home and checked it out. No suspension problems. I replaced the spark plugs and put in a reco alternator and a battery I had laying around. Got a blue slip. Wash and wax and some detailing and it came up lovely. Was going to give it to my boy to use but change of plans had me put it up for sale on Gumtree. Got $1700 cash the same day. |

Why anyone would buy a new car and be chained to $500+ loan repayments for five years is beyond me. There are cars out there that cost as much as a house when new that can be bought for peanuts now.

Seriously thinking of buying a Bentley Continental GT. I love a V12. Especially one that actually goes down the road instead of sitting in the driveway eternally. These Bentley monsters were almost half a mill back in the day but are getting down to a more reasonable price now. I'm thinking - buy one and fill your boots - then 12 months later sell it for close to what you paid for it. Whaddya reckon?

My neighbours on one side are this couple of old Indian Cxxnts who literally do not turn a light on at night. Their joint is in total darkness 24/7. I sympathise with people struggling with high electrity costs but FXCK ME thee CXNTS just take THRIFTINESS to a new level!
