I agree with you but it's a bit rich you saying that after the fact.  Bernie fell into line pretty quick.

The opposite of conservative is progressive, and as a species we are forever progressing (albeit very slowly because of the conservative rump), which proves beyond doubt, that progressives have it more right than conservatives.

You need to know that there is difference between progressive and 'progressive' though.

The reason Trump is going to win is because the big end of town tried to wrap Hilary in their vested interests when it was clear through the early campaign that the true left wanted Bernie Sanders. The media made sure Clinton beat him, even though the polls suggested that he had a far better chance of beating trump than she did. Thus, they crapped in their own nest and they deserve what they've got now, but I truly feel very sorry for the minorities that are now going to get even more screwed worldwide as mostly the rest of the world takes its cues from the US. The revolution had started with Sanders, and the corporates made sure they shut it down - because it was not in their best interests.

the minorities? please define minority for me?

My minority mate lives by the same ideals and wants the the same things as me.  Stop trying to divide and pigeon hole us.
